Extend Your Lashes Hands-on Workshops are lead by our certified Minkys Trainers. The Hands-On Workshop is a full day comprehensive and cutting edge training program. We place an emphasis on maintaining the health, safety and satisfaction of your clients. Extend Your Lashes products are of the highest quality and give an extensionist the most eyelash options on the market.

Our goal is to prepare you to become a highly successful Eyelash Extension Professional. We will not send you out the door after the Hand-On Workshop and hope for the best. Our Minkys Trainers will assist you through the whole training process and guide you into this very profitable eyelash extension business.

Requirements
All potential students should contact their state licensing board to inquire about licensing requirements for applying eyelash extensions. Knowledge of licensing requirements is the student’s responsibility.

How to get started?
Search our training schedule page to find a professional Minkys Trainer in your area.  Our Minkys Trainers  are skilled in communicating and demonstrating the fine art of eyelash extensions. Their goal is to guide you through the Extend Your Lashes Hands-On Workshop and support you in the development your practice.

Extend Your Lashes has two Minkys Training Kits options:

What to do next?

1. You must register on-line  two-weeks prior to your desired Hands-On Workshop.  You must place a $50 USD non-refundable deposit down and pay for your Minkys Training Kit. We will notify your Minkys Trainer of your participation and ensure that your kit arrives at least three days prior to your class.
2. The balance of your training fee $300 is to be paid at the beginning of your Hands-On Workshop to your Minkys Trainer. If your Minkys Trainer travels to you to conduct the workshop, you will be accessed an additional $50 per one-hour driving radius.

What to expect?
Our Hands On Workshops are a day long training course.  Extend Your Lashes requires that all students provide their own food and beverages, as well as arrange for a model to come during the Hands-On Practical section of the course.

• Overview of Extend Your Lashes
• Theory of Eyelash Extensions and Techniques
• Health and Safety Protocols
• Training Video Presentation
• Hands-on Practical with models

Certification
After completion of the Hands on Workshop students are required to complete at least 5 full sets of practice lashes (at least 60 lashes per eye) on their own. Then take a three-hour hands-on test with their Minkys Trainer and achieve the following.

•   At least 60 lashes per eye.
•   Eyelashes placed evenly with no large uneven spaces.
•   No clumps of adhesive in the lashes.
•   No adhesive on the client’s skin.
•   No 2 eyelashes stuck together.
•   Lashes curling in the right direction.
•   Follow the procedures and safety precautions outlined on the Minkys Student Folder.

The Extend Your Lashes difference is that you may test as many times as necessary at no extra charge. We want you to be confident and ready to start your career. You must provide your own model for each certification test. Once certified, you will receive an Extend Your Lashes Eyelash Extension Certificate, our marketing materials, be able to use the professional grade glue and start charging for your work!

Marketing Support – Once you have passed the Extend Your Lashes certification exam, we will mail you your certificate along with our marketing kits at no extra charge.
